SEX and HEALTH EDUCATION: Throughout the course of schoolwork as part of our health education programme children will learn about issues of growth, hygiene, diet and biology. In the later years in school specific sex education will be given after details have been sent to parents. We take care to ensure that these topics are viewed within the context of loving family relationships.
Parents are welcome to borrow videos used to view them at home. Our school nurse is available to give support and advice to the older children.
School Policies are circulated from time to time and are available on request.

ATTENDANCE:We discourage the taking of holidays in school time, and several children each year normally achieve 99% or even 100% attendance.
SAT RESULTS:These are conducted in accordance with Government requirements .Key Stage 2 results are only published in local league tables when the number of children exceeds 10. Prospective parents can receive this information on request. We were proud that progress in raising our SAT levels, was recognised by DfES achievement Awards, in 2001 and again in 2002. Since then we have been working hard to improve further, particularly the number of higher Levels achieved by Year 6 children.
