One activity which was new to most people was archery. As well as having lots of fun with both training and lethal 'combo' bows, we discovered that Simonsbath House is famous for it's own 'Robin Hood' shot. The arrows hanging in the classroom prove that 2 bulls-eye shots were so precisely placed that the second buried itself in the shaft of the first. This was such a good shot that even 100 archers shooting 100 arrows into the same target couldn't repeat it.
