Rosie's poem: Year 4
The old wrinkley elephant,
was stuck inside a zoo,
his trunk was swaying like an arm,
he had nothing to do.
His huge ears wobbled about,
in the hot hot sun.
His tail swayed from side to side.
It was boring, he had no fun.
His tusks were as sharp as knifes,
And they were shimmering white.
The zoo was dull and horrible.
There was no room to sleep at night.
The elephant was very sad
his eyes grew smaller every day.
He couldn't sleep, all he did was weep
he needed to get out TODAY!
Each ear heard nothing but children,
wondering about every hour,
he needed to get past the strong rusty bars.
He really needed some power.
He didn't have much food,
he dropped to the ground,
A never ending dream,
about being in the wild.
was stuck inside a zoo,
his trunk was swaying like an arm,
he had nothing to do.
His huge ears wobbled about,
in the hot hot sun.
His tail swayed from side to side.
It was boring, he had no fun.
